- Is LangCorrect free?
- Yes, and that is a real advantage worth weighing. Bonjournal has a free tier of ten entries a month with paid plans above it. If cost is the deciding factor and the community is active in your language, LangCorrect is a reasonable choice and this page is not trying to argue otherwise.
- Why use AI correction if native speakers are free?
- Speed and consistency. A volunteer corrects some of your entries eventually; AI corrects all of them within a minute, which is what keeps a daily writing habit alive. Consistency also means your repeated mistakes form a visible pattern instead of being scattered across corrections from different people with different standards.
- Can I use both?
- Plenty of people do, and it is a sensible combination. Use instant correction for daily writing so nothing blocks the habit, and post occasionally to a community when you want a native speaker to judge whether something sounds natural rather than whether it is correct.
- Do I need to correct other people here?
